The certified CEPA training event held annually in spring to acquire the qualification "MEPA-Kurs - Vorbeugung und Bekämpfung grenzüberschreitender Kriminalität" forms the "core area" of the training. The course lasts 7 weeks and is assigned to level 5 according to the Austrian NQF register (https://www.qualifikationsregister.at/public/qualification/94/). The course language is German.
Up to 26 participants receive practice-oriented training at a high level in the CEPA member countries.
In the course of this training, a case study on a current criminal police topic is worked on. The elaboration/presentation/defence of the case study is an integral part of obtaining the qualification.
