In Hungary, in the Center for International Training, the follow-up seminar for the CEPA main course graduates of the years 1993, 1994, 1995, 2005, 2014 and 2015 took place between September 27 and October 01, 2021. A total of 20 participants had the opportunity to meet again in Budapest.
The event was opened by the Hungarian CEPA Board of Trustees member, Brigadier General Dr. István FARKAS, Director of the Center for International Training.
The aims of the seminar were both the exchange of the latest information on investigative methods and international criminal police cooperation, as well as the establishment and maintenance of contacts among the seminar participants.
The presentations and lectures on the current presentation of the new means and methods in the prevention and combating of organized crime, the significance of the Schengen rules for criminal and border police work, taking into account particular structural issues, and new ways and forms of international and national cooperation were provided by the seminar participants.
Based on the positive feedback from the seminar participants, this CEPA advanced training for former CEPA main course graduates will be offered again to other course graduates next year.
