​The 3rd main course week took place in Switzerland from 11 - 15 March 2019 in Biel on the topic of prevention and combating of internationally relevant crime. 22 participants started the course in Prague, Czech Republic, then went to Eltville, Germany.

The weekly programme was carried out as planned. Presentations were given on the topics: Money laundering, the century art theft in Zurich, combating drug crime, asset confiscation, terrorism, police attachés, phishing, forecasting home burglaries with the analysis software PRECOBS as well as kidnappings abroad. In addition, the participants were given time to work in the group workshops.

During an excursion to Berne, the Cantonal Police BE and its tasks were presented. The course attendants were introduced to the lake police at Twann as well. Interested parties could even benefit from a boat trip on Lake Biel (in turbulent waves).

There was an extraordinarily good group dynamic.
