The 27th CEPA Main Course 2019 will take place from 25 February to 12 April 2019. This course will be held at seven locations in the Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland, Slovenia, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary. On 25.02.2019 this course was opened in Prague by representatives of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic and the Police Academy in Prague. At the opening, both the Czech representative of the board Dr. jur. Petr Novák, Ph.D. and the Prorector Ms. Doc. PhDr., CSc. Ludmila Cirtková, mentioned the importance of CEPA's international training.
The main course will last seven weeks and 22 participants from the CEPA countries will attend this CEPA training. Participants will learn about legal and strategic elements as well as operational and tactical measures in the fight against organized crime.
During the course, experts from CEPA countries will introduce participants to the latest trends and methods in the fight against organized crime. The focus will be on international cross-border cooperation and the elaboration of joint measures. The course will also cover the latest trends in the field of cyber-crime, as well as the latest trends in trafficking in human beings, drug crime and property crime.
Participation in practical exercises in the modern and efficient fight against crime is intended to demonstrate the practical added value of this course.
During the main course the 22 participants will attend a workshop, where different tasks around the topic "human trafficking" are to be worked on in the 7 weeks. A practical case will serve as a basis. At the end of the course, the results of the workshops will be presented to a panel of experts. The workshops will be accompanied and led by experienced experts from Austria and Slovakia.
