The Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic, in cooperation with the Hans Seidel Foundation, organised the CEPA "Follow-up Seminar for Graduates of CEPA Special Courses 2013, 2011, 2003, 2002, 1999 and 1998" at the Spiritka Conference Centre in Prague from 18 to 21 June 2018.

The participants had the opportunity to meet again after a longer period of time. During the four days of the seminar, the experts and participants had the opportunity to expand their expertise in the field of cross-border police cooperation in compensatory measures and border police tasks.

Lectures were given by border police experts on the prevention and management of cross-border crime, border control, border surveillance and risk analysis at borders. The seminar participants presented lectures and analyses on the current situation of illegal migration.

The 26 participants from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, Germany and Switzerland were introduced to the work of the Foreign Police Department in the capital Prague during an excursion.
